Junior SCADA/Business Data Analyst in Business Unit Assets
Offer: two-year contract
The department Dispatch is responsible for optimising and dispatching Continental generation units in the intraday time horizon. We manage conventional assets, pump storages as well as renewable assets with a strong commercial focus while ensuring compliance with regulation across all customer/counterpart segments and product categories for the Continental markets.
As a Junior SCADA/Business Data Analyst you will work in an international and dynamic environment.
Your role has two main responsibilities: Firstly, learning the SCADA system as used by Trading with the goal to maintain and optimise the existing system. Secondly, supporting the continuous expansion and development of processes for the collection and analysis of our production data. This data is used throughout the organisation as the basis for the assessment and improvement of the commercial success for Vattenfall.

Your profile as a Junior SCADA/Business Data Analyst
- University degree (engineering, economics, science) or comparable professional education with additional qualification
- Strong analytical skills, preferably with background in optimisation methods and/or process automation, programming skills are a plus
- Highly team-oriented, proactive behavior
- Reliable, accurate working methods and stress resistant
- Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of German and English spoken and written. Further Dutch language skills would be advantageous.
- Travelling is required

has the ambition to maximise the value of all Vattenfall assets. It is responsible for the development and execution of an appropriate hedge strategy of the overall exposure of Vattenfall. Assets supports Vattenfall on decisions about investments and divestments. The responsibility includes the planning and optimisation of Vattenfall conventional assets and the dispatch of all Vattenfall and contracted 3rd party assets.
